Mission Statement: World Campus International, Inc. is a Japanese organization that encourages the development of people into global citizens by facilitating a unique international and intercultural curriculum involving diverse young adults and communities throughout the world.
Statement of Purpose: World Campus International, Inc. is a global resource that brings together diverse young adults from several countries to communities who are looking for meaningful international and intercultural experiences. Educational opportunities are created for the exchange of ideas through participation in shared activities in the areas of culture, community welfare, business and politics.
These opportunities are designed to inspire both community members and program participants to see their own cultural identities in a global context and to create bridges for understanding and cooperation between cultures, now and in the future.
Non-Profit Status: World Campus International, Inc. is a registered non-profit organization with the Tokyo Metropolitan government in Japan. In the United States, World Campus International, Inc. is also registered as a non-profit entity and furthermore is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, making donations and contributions tax deductible.
