Adriana MesquitaAdriana Mesquita – Brazilian Contact
Adriana lives in one of the most diverse cities in the world: So Paulo, Brazil, with 11 million inhabitants from several different backgrounds. The diversity of people and cultures has always amazed her, and that prompted her into meeting different people and traveling whenever the opportunity presented itself. She has studied languages abroad, has been a participant of an international leadership program through which she visited Japan for 6 weeks and currently works with international trade promotion for the textile and apparel industry a job that allows her to be constantly immersed in a global atmosphere. Tony SheehanTony Sheehan – Canadian Contact
After extensive international travel, Tony attended the University of Sherbrooke where he graduated in computer engineering and received four leadership scholarships for his extracurricular involvement. He then participated in a global leadership program that brought him to Japan where he stayed for a little more than a month and had the chance to experience all the beauty of the Japanese culture. Today, Tony is one of the youngest project managers in the video game industry. Tony is also an active member of the International Rotary Club. Crystal SandersonCrystal Sanderson – Western Canadian Contact
Crystal was born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia. With a degree in Tourism, she has had the opportunity to meet a wide spectrum of people from all over the world, which in turn sparked her interest to travel. Through her travels to North America, Europe and Japan, she developed a deeper understanding of each city by volunteering and staying with local families. Her passion for learning new languages grew when she was enrolled in French Immersion in school, and has since begun to learn Sign Language, German and Japanese. Japan holds a special place in her heart as its beauty and traditions remind her of the important things in life, such as family and values. Marco Ramirez - ArgumedoMarco Ramirez – Argumedo – Latin American Contact – Mexico
Marco was born and raised in one of the largest cities in the world – Mexico City! He has been immersed in multicultural settings since he was 11 years old starting with experiences in the USA and Japan, and then later by living in Canada for a couple of years. Most recently he took part in a leadership program for a year and a half that brought him around the globe. Today, his studies in civil engineering have led him to work in Cancun in the construction business. Ben GrafströmBen Grafström – USA Contact – Colorado
Ben is currently in graduate school at the University of Colorado at Boulder where he is working on his Masters in Japanese Language and Literature. Prior to graduate school he worked in Osaka, Japan as an English language instructor and then as a high school literature teacher and rowing coach back in his hometown of Philadelphia. Ben lives a very active life and enjoys everything from aikid to mountain biking and from playing the drums to bonsai. Darrin SchadelDarrin Schadel – USA Contact – Hawai'i
Darrin spent 6 years traveling extensively throughout the globe including to Japan; exploring diversity and cultural education before finally settling in Hawai'i. He holds a Masters Degree in Social Work and is a licensed practitioner. He currently works for a community health care clinic that provides primary health care services to underserved and uninsured people from all over the Pacific Rim, especially South Pacific Islander and Micronesian communities. Darrin is active in voluntary activities such as advocacy and legislative processes for underprivileged, immigrant, and ethnic minority peoples as well as educational opportunities such as World Campus International, Inc.. Ashlie DaigleAshlie Daigle – USA Contact
Ashlie was born in Thibodaux, Louisiana and spent most of her life living in the southern United States. She cherishes the culture there (and of course the food) but since her first international experience in Paris she has craved diverse experiences in international settings. Since that time she has participated in several leadership experiences both globally and in American Universities. Her interests have allowed her to spend time in Japan and in several European countries. She is currently living in East Lansing, Michigan and studying for a Masters in Communication. She believes that World Campus — Japan will provide participants with a once in a lifetime opportunity and is eager to discuss it at usa@worldcampus.org

Ben HuffordBen Hufford – USA/Japan Contact
Ben was born in Los Angeles, California but currently lives in Nagoya, Japan. His entire life he has been surrounded by diversity and believes that knowledge of other cultures can bring knowledge about your own culture. Ben showed interest in Japan even at an early age by taking Japanese lessons. He has participated in many leadership programs and loves meeting new people. During his travels in Japan, with an international group, he was offered a job. He currently lives in Nagoya, Japan were he works as a Lighting Technician and believes that World Campus — Japan can help you also find opportunities. Faith L. WallsFaith L. Walls – USA Contact
Faith is a native of Chicago, Illinois. She attended Howard University in Washington, DC and received a bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2005 and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Policy in 2007. After traveling with a global education program througout the United States, Europe and Thailand for 6 months, Faith joined the Spring 2008 class of World Campus - Japan. It was in Japan while working with children, Faith realized that she was ready to return home to teach the youth of Chicago. Currently, Faith is working on her certification to teach elementary school and looks forward to one day pursuing a Doctorate in International and Comparative Education. Sairam MooreSairam Moore — USA Contact
Sairam was born in a small gold rush town near Sacramento, California. His educational background includes a BA in Psychology, a Teaching Credential, and a Masters in Education. Sairam has extensive experience working abroad including specializing in recruiting and presenting in schools across the US and in Europe. He also worked with teens & adults with severe disabilities and taught English as a second language in Switzerland. Sairam presently teaches health prevention and special education at his local high school. Cody PermenterCody Permenter – USA Contact
Cody was born and raised in northern California. From a young age he became interested in Japan. Rather than going to a traditional high school, he went a school that he attended once a week, which gave him time to follow other pursuits including studying Film Production. In the summer of 2007 his dreams came true when he attended all sessions of the World Campus Japan program. This was a life changing experience for him, and he was fortunate enough to return as a staff assistant during the Spring 2008 tour. Cody is part of the Summer 2008 staff team as well and in charge of documenting the tour as well as running the Arigato Evento. He is very interested in doing art, and experiencing new cultures. Guang was born in China but now lives in Denver, Colorado. He loves to study and interact with different cultures even if he is often confused about his personal culture. After earning degrees in History and Chinese, on a whim, Guang joined the World Campus — Japan program in the spring of 2008. He enjoyed and appreciated his experience so much that he applied and returned as part of the road staff for the Summer 08 and Spring 09 programs. Celiana DolovitzCeliana Dolovitz — Venezuelan Contact
Born in Valencia, Venezuela; Celiana studied Graphic Design as well as Publicity and Advertising. She grew up in a family that loved to travel, and with that discovered the wonder of meeting people from different cultures. This led her to traveling around the world for 4 years including 3 visits to Japan with an international program that taught her the importance of understanding how to work as a team with people from different cultures, religions and nationalities.
